David Johnston

David is an Associate with Davis Langdon currently based in our Cork office. He first joined Davis Langdon in 1994 after finishing his degree in 1992. He spent 12 months in Australia in 1996/1997 where he worked on a major residential development adjacent to Sydney’s Olympic Village. David returned to Davis Langdon Dublin in January 1998.

David managed the QS team in our Beacon office before moving to the Cork office in June 2005. David currently manages a team of surveyors and is involved in a wide variety of projects in both public and private sectors. He is also a member of the Davis Langdon management team with particular responsibility for development of the Cork office.

David has extensive experience in cost planning, procurement, and pre and post contract cost management on a wide range of building projects. He also has significant experience in negotiating Part V deals and bank monitoring/due diligence on major commercial projects.
